Tim Bowling is the author of ten poetry collections, three novels, and two works of non-fiction. He has twice been nominated for the Governor General’s Award for Poetry, has won the Canadian Authors Association Award for Poetry and four Alberta Book Awards. In 2008, he received a Guggenheim Fellowship in recognition of his entire body of work in poetry and prose. His most recent books include In The Suicide’s Library: A Book Lover’s Journey (Gaspereau 2010), a non fiction account dealing with books, poetry, and suicide; and Tenderman (Nightwood 2011), a poetry sequence that employs a persona to look at notions of masculinity, history, and time. A native of the west coast, Tim lives in Edmonton.
