Brent Raycroft was born in Ottawa fifty-some years ago, has lived in Montreal and Halifax, and now resides north of Kingston with his partner Alicia and their two sons, Gus and Morris. He works from home as an editor for a law book publisher. Some of his poetry appeared in print in the twentieth century (Montreal Now, Writing 13), and in recent years he has begun writing and publishing again (in Prairie Fire, the regional anthology That Not Forgotten, Arc, and Vallum [forthcoming]). He is a regular at the monthly Artel open mike night in Kingston.
